In laymans terms, "the bars go up and down, but I can't hear my voice through the headphones". The headset IS detected, but any attempts to configure it in any program (Discord, Audacity, etc.) result in audio supposedly being detected but no actual audible sounds being output, just complete silence. Changing usb ports does not change anything. The UM2 is not being detected at all, the Power/+48v lights wont even come on despite the lights coming on in both my BIOS menu and while in my Windows 7 partition (microphone also works perfectly in W7, for reference). Unfortunately, I have been having issues with getting my microphone(s) working in Mint 19.3, both the one I want to use listed in the title (which apparently WILL work on Mint judging by some other posts I found on the internet) and my "backup" microphone which is an old Turtlebeach PLa headset. Hello everyone! I'm new here, so apologies if there I missed anything or if there is anything in my post that is incorrectly formatted.
